I feel bad on my poor neglected blog it’s been nearly a week since my last post, I haven’t a clue where this week has gone! Probably has something to do with assessments being the day after tomorrow, I’m sure the days are passing two at a time! It’s now nearly Monday morning and I’ve been staring at this screen for well over 15 hours, as you can imagine I’m not really seeing straight at the moment Hopefully it will be worth it and I won’t fail my degree! I have four sections of a presentation and some paperwork to complete tomorrow and that’s it, wahoo.

It is going to be very strange not being a student any more, but I’m sure our night out on Tuesday will ease the passing

Anyway, it’s a stupidly early start for me in the morning so I’d best be off!

It’s been one hectic week! We headed over to Manchester on Monday evening in the hope of finding a new place for when we leave Wrexham in two weeks, the original plan was to stay until Wednesday evening after my interview with a recruitment agency. As it happens we managed to finally arrive back in Wrexham on Saturday afternoon, I think our neighbour thought we’d moved out! After a long week of job hunting, interviews, property viewings and getting lost in the car not to mention the two new tires I had to purchase for my car, it seemed a bit odd returning back to Wrexham. At least we now have a place to live sorted out, I just have to find a job to pay for it The move date is set for the beginning of June, just enough time to get next Tuesday’s assessments out of the way.

I’m ashamed to say that I’m relatively new to the world of converse, I never really gave them a second look, until now that is. The latest of my two pair collection has finally arrived from the states (couldn’t find them over here), I am now the proud owner of two pairs of Sailor Jerry style Chuck’s and I have another two pairs on the list for my next purchase already! Here’s my latest arrival:

First Thursday is a student lead monthly event that takes place (you guessed it) on the first Thursday of every month at the North Wales School of Art & Design, a very popular event too with all sorts of work, installations and exhibitions happening, well worth a visit! Because the nights are such a great thing for NWSAD Danielle (aka The Jiggery Pokery) a fellow student and I decided that a weblog would be a fantastic way for students and lecturers to share their views and opinions about the event, and also provide the opportunity to big it up online Don’t hesitate to join in!
