Critique

Posted in the old student days by michelle-b on the February 12th, 2007

I submitted both of my designs to the critique section of threadless. One of which has had some useful comments and as a result “Tired Of Waiting” has gone through some changes, here’s version 2:

T-Shirt Designs

Posted in the old student days by michelle-b on the February 9th, 2007

I’ve spent most of today messing around in illustrator creating a couple of designs [see below] for the latest Threadless competition entitled “Big Buck Hunter Pro Loves” I haven’t submitted either into the competition yet but I have uploaded them both to the Critique section of Threadless, so depending on the response they get I’ll be taking the plunge. I’ll definitely be designing some more t-shirts it’s been fun working with Illustrator again. Here you go:

Go MOO

Posted in the old student days by michelle-b on the February 8th, 2007

I received my wonderful MOO cards this morning, the day after the dispatch email v.impressive. The whole process took a lot less than they said it would but I guess they have to extend it so that people aren’t disappointed. They are great and come with a great plastic storage box handy for keeping them uncreased and clean. Problem is I don’t want to give them away, if I ever manage to use all of them I will definitely be ordering some more.

There’s just one thing I would recommend if you are planning on ordering some and that is to colour check your images as one of mine turned out a little too dark.

Fire On Flickr

Posted in the old student days by michelle-b on the February 7th, 2007

One of my latest Flickr uploads is doing well at the moment, it’s been getting some great feedback, quite an achievement as some of the commentators can be a little critical. It’s a shame I don’t own the digital SLR I took it with :( Maybe when I’m a little richer.

My MOO cards were dispatched this afternoon, I should receive them soon, can’t wait! I will let you know how great they are once they have arrived.

We All Love A Good MOO!

Posted in the old student days by michelle-b on the February 1st, 2007

Ordered some wonderful MOO cards today. I Got a lovely email from little MOO telling me that they were on order and that big MOO would be printing them shortly. I just have to wait two weeks until they arrive and then I’ll be able to tell you all about them! Wahoo for MOO.

If you’ve got some free browsing time the have a gander at MOTOSPEED, not only does it feature shiny new broadband fast mobiles it also features a brand new mini series by the brilliant Tokyoplastic. If you haven’t heard of them or seen their site then shame on you, you’d better get making up for it!
