Poll Results

Thanks to all who took part in my poll. It will remain open until early December the results are looking pretty conclusive right now so we’ll see what happens.

At the moment I am working my way through a 10 week negotiated studies brief and as a result I have been doing some PHP and Actionscript tests. I’m attempting to get Flash to pull information from a php file on a mySQL server using Actionscript. I have Flash communicating with a PHP file that I created and uploaded onto my host so it’s getting there. Unfortunately progress is a little slower than I would have hoped, being a complete novice when it comes to server side scripting I’m having to learn everything from the very beginning.

I’ve also been experimenting with dynamic drawing and an elasticated spring effect using Actionscript. Which is going very well.

Spring Segment - Drag and drop the rectangle.

The overall project is a little fragmented at the moment and putting it all together is going to be challenging but then isn’t it always ;)

That Time Again

Yep, there’s some more piccies for you to see on Flickr. I’m thinking about purchasing a Flickr pro account so that I can upload more than 20mb worth of photos a month, which works out at about 10 pictures :( What do you think?

Layout Issues

Having tested my site on browsershots.org I found that when viewed on a pc in IE the page is a little (ok alot) distorted. I will be working to fix that over the next week or so in the meantime get firefox it’s free and better than IE!

The links above and others that I have been collecting can be seen on my del.icio.us page.
